S.E.L.F, which stands for Self Elevated Lifelong Freedom, represents the final stage of our comprehensive program, designed to support and empower mothers as they transition towards complete independence and self-reliance.

Graduating To Independence

​​As the final phase of our program, S.E.L.F offers mothers the opportunity to take the next step towards complete independence. Building upon the achievements and skills acquired during their time at the Leep and Killilea Homes, mothers are empowered to embark on a journey towards self-reliance and lifelong freedom.

​Supportive Transition

Transitioning to the S.E.L.F Home marks a significant milestone for mothers who have successfully completed the earlier phases of the program. While leaving the designated Hannah's House residences and stepping away from direct daily assistance from staff may seem daunting, mothers who choose to enter S.E.L.F gain access to a range of supportive resources to aid in their transition.

​Empowering Resources

At S.E.L.F, mothers receive housing resources and guidance to support them in managing their rental budgets and securing individual housing. Additionally, access to the Hannah's House Alumni Store provides discounted necessities, easing the financial burden of independent living. Mothers also benefit from individual budgeting support and decision-making guidance from the Hannah's House Life Skills Coordinator, empowering them to make informed choices for themselves and their families.

Continued Assistance and Encouragement

While some mothers may choose to move on from Hannah's House at this point, those who opt to continue into S.E.L.F gain ongoing assistance and encouragement from the organization. S.E.L.F was designed to emphasize the individual's ability to elevate into self-reliance, recognizing that living well is a process and a lifelong choice.
